We believe that Global Best Practice Standards are essential to protecting the rights and wellbeing of clinical trial participants, and delivering innovative new treatments to patients more quickly and safely.
Our leadership's shared mission is to reduce the risk to patients and valuable new treatments; by driving the adoption of global best practice standards for clinical research professionals, sites and other organizations globally, throughout the clinical research ecosystem.
The IAOCR Global Best Practices Board (GBPB) brings together four regional chapters - Americas, APAC, Europe, and the Middle East & Africa, to enable global networking and the sharing of best practices across the clinical research industry. The GBPB has evolved directly from the Global Advisory Board that originally developed the GCSA Site Certification Standard; it has now expanded to support the rapidly growing global community of sites and organisations adopting GCSA and IAOCR quality standards worldwide. Working collaboratively, the Board helps identify and advise on key global and regional challenges, influences positive change across the industry, encourages broader partnerships and opportunities, and champions the importance of global standards in underpinning quality, safety, operational excellence, and ultimately the trust of research participants and sponsor.
