Doing the Right Thing: Year of Engagement

Engaged employees are more effective and productive, and are good ambassadors for your business.

You no doubt have heard us say this before, but that’s because it matters. It really matters. Engaged employees are intrinsic to the success of business and the business of clinical research is based on patient safety. With this in mind, employee engagement cannot be negotiable in our industry. There is too much at stake.

This is why we are challenging you to ‘Do the Right Thing’. Challenge what you’re doing and ask yourself: “Am I doing this because it’s part of the process or because it’s the right thing to do?” The two are not the same.

Our business and industry has evolved over the years in both techniques and the products that are being researched. This means previous methods and approaches may no longer be appropriate This is why it’s more important than ever that we are asking ourselves these questions. Are your employees challenging and questioning why processes are being followed? Why are we doing what we’re doing? Are your employees constantly assessing their work to ensure the best outcomes?

Engaged, competent employees will already be challenging the norm to ensure the outcomes are optimum – does this apply to you and your team?

Watch this space for more on how we’re challenging you all (and ourselves) to “Do the Right Thing” and get in touch if you’d like more information or to get involved:
