Program Dates

Registration is now open for the 2018 cohort. The application window will remain open until end June 2017, or until the program is full (whichever is the sooner). Places will be offered to applicable participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

Interested participants should submit their completed application form to Angela O’Connell. Interviews will take place between April and August 2017, prior to places being offered.

Participants are expected to fully participate in all stages of the program as follows:

  • Personal Preparation Meeting (a half day meeting scheduled in Dec 2017 – Jan 2018)
  • Distance Learning Phase : Feb – May 2018
  • Kellogg Residential Phase : 30 Apr – 4 May 2018
  • Deadline for Competence Portfolios : 30 July 2018

Built in collaboration with industry leaders and Kellogg School of Management, this ground-breaking program develops the essential skills, knowledge and behaviors to lead your clinical research organization successfully into the future.

In response to demand from industry, this program focuses on developing high level commercial and leadership competencies in professionals that have had a progressive career within clinical research, but not previously benefitted from a business school education.

Program Overview

This unique six month learning and accreditation program blends learning through workplace-based projects and distance learning with a one week immersive learning experience at Kellogg School of Management, Chicago.

In order to achieve internationally recognizable Qualified Clinical Research Executive Leader status (ELIACR), participants will be required to provide specific evidence of competence in the areas of:

  • Business & Organizational Strategy
  • Managing Change
  • Leading Yourself
  • Leading Others
  • Finance
  • Corporate Governance, Law & Ethics
  • Commercial Skills
